We have three campuses across Edinburgh. Each built for purpose with state of the art facilities for the specialisms taught and researched there. We highly recommend booking a campus tour to see where you would study at Edinburgh Napier. A current student will guide you around the campus, show you key facilities that you'll use and give you their insight to what student life is like. 

Craiglockhart Campus

Merchiston Campus

Home to The School of Computing Engineering & The Built Environment and The School of Arts & Creative Industries. Built around the historic 16th-century home of our very own John Napier, Merchiston campus mixes disciplines across creative, computing and engineering to create an inspiring, innovative and collaborative atmosphere. Sighthill Campus

Home to the School of Applied Sciences and The School of Health & Social Care. The applied nature of our courses, combined with specialist facilities, empower our students to explore their passions and make a difference. The only university in Scotland to be accredited by the UK government's Talented Athletes Scholarship Scheme (TASS). Finding your new home can be daunting. That's why we have dedicated teams to help navigate this, we're here to help you find your new home. As a Postgraduate student, you are welcome to apply for university accommodation. However, there are limited spaces, and these will be allocated on a first come, first served basis.

Many postgraduate students choose to live in private rentals around Edinburgh. If you prefer flexibility or city living, this may be the right option for you. Our Accommodation Team can provide advice on finding accommodation in the private sector, just contact privateaccommodation@napier.ac.uk if you would like to know more.

Organising your finances can be a difficult and confusing time. From understanding tuition fees, deposits, various ways to pay fees, available discounts and more. There are other ways you can save money and organise your personal finances while at university. Students can save at many retailers with student discounts such as UNiDAYS and Student Beans. Edinburgh Napier Student Association (ENSA) have put together some of their best tips to save money from accommodation and bills to banking, food and socialising. Check out the full guide.

Registration is the process where you officially register as a student with Edinburgh Napier. Before you start at the University, you'll need to complete this process online. You must complete the online process and any other checks that are required for you to become a fully registered student at Edinburgh Napier University.

There are a number of steps to go through, including setting up your email and password. We have created a video and step by step guide to help you register here.

All new students must engage with the registration process and choose any optional modules before being able to access your individual timetable. It can take up to 5 working days to receive your timetable once you have engaged with the registration process, so we recommend completing registration early.

My Timetable is where you will find the details of all timetabled teaching events (on-campus and online). You can access your personalised timetable via your Office365 calendar, the My Account app and on My Napier. 

As part of your induction we recommend attending Welcome Week. Your Welcome Week activities are a variety of events to introduce opportunities available at Edinburgh Napier. It is a chance to let you know what to expect on your course, but it also includes fun activities which allow you to meet fellow students, check out societies and sports clubs, and get involved with the community. Activities include themed parties, speed friending, club nights, cultural tours and the Welcome Fair.


Once you have completed registration you will gain access to your personalised Welcome Timetable as well as your personal teaching timetable. The Welcome Week timetable is published for each school a few weeks before the trimester start date.
