Graduation 2026

Welcome to graduation! You’ll find everything you need to know about the July 2026 ceremonies below.

Welcome and congratulations!

Reaching graduation is no small achievement. Your presence here today reflects commitment, hard work and growth. It’s also a wonderfully happy occasion where you get to pause for a minute, take a deep breath and celebrate with the friends and family who have supported you along the way.

This is my first autumn graduation as Principal of Edinburgh Napier University, and I’m genuinely delighted to share it with you. It’s a proud moment, not only for you and your families, but also for all the staff across the University who’ve supported you on the way here.

By earning your award, you’ve achieved something meaningful. You’ve developed knowledge and skills that will guide you through the next chapter of your life, whether that’s here in Scotland or further afield. I hope you leave us with confidence, curiosity and a sense of pride in what you’ve accomplished. You’re now part of a global community of Edinburgh Napier graduates who are doing remarkable things in all sorts of places—we really are everywhere.

We hope you’ll keep in touch, and don’t be shy about coming back to say hello or letting us know what you’ve been up to. Once you’re part of the Edinburgh Napier community, you always are.

Warmest congratulations—and enjoy every minute of today.

Professor Sue Rigby
Principal & Vice Chancellor
