Cost: £410 for 20 credit modules/ £205 for10 credit modules

The aim of this suite of credit-bearing modules is to flexibly fill gaps for:

  • PGDE applicants who do not have all subject 80 credits and need to top-up.
  • Existing secondary teachers who wish to dual qualify (eg. physics teachers to qualify to also teach chemistry).
  • Existing primary teachers who wish to qualify as secondary subject teachers.
  • Prospective applicants for primary or secondary teaching who do not hold the essential SCQF Level 6 English qualification.

Applying

You will need to create an account when applying for one or more of your Subject Knowledge for Teaching CPD modules. Although the form is a standard one, this is NOT a UCAS application. You do not need to provide a reference or a personal statement.

  • Please use the personal statement section to let us know which module(s) you are applying for.
  • Please do provide a degree transcript showing credits achieved and evidence of English language proficiency where required.

Fees and payment

The cost of this course is £410 per 20-credit module or £205 per 10-credit module.,

If your module is paid by your employer, they must now raise a purchase order and send it to fees@napier.ac.uk who will issue an invoice for payment. You will be unable to register on the programme unless this process is completed.
