Edinburgh Napier is ranked the top modern university in Scotland by the Times Higher Education World University Rankings 2026. We also took the top spot in Scotland and are ranked a top 10 UK university in the Times Higher Education Young University Rankings 2024.

Edinburgh Napier has improved its score in the latest ranking of universities’ progress in facing up to major global challenges. The rankings measure progress towards the UNSDGs.

Edinburgh Napier has been the top university in Edinburgh for overall student satisfaction since 2020!

Edinburgh Napier is the biggest climber in Scotland, moving up 15 places from 96th to 81st in the UK. The University is the third most improved modern university in the whole of the UK.
