Traffic accidents reductions in Saudi Arabia: Barriers and the way forward
  It has been estimated that the annual cost of traffic accidents in Saudi Arabia exceeds 6 billion US dollars, in addition to other social, health, and economic impacts, such as disability, rehab, and unemployment due to traffic accident injuries The main aim of this paper is to prpose a framework to study, assess and enhance accident data collection and analysis in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA). A case study of city, with particularly high accident rates, Tabuk city is selected for the investigation. In addition, risk identification, risk assessment and risk reduction process due to road traffic and driver is discussed by improvement data collection process and wider implementation. There are not many studies, if any in Tabuk for the investigations and development of a framework for accident reduction.
