Conrad, Ford, Wells and Modernism
This article develops on my previous work on Conrad and Wells, but brings Ford more firmly into the frame. The argument centres on how Conrad and Ford discussed their efforts to create a 'New Form' for the English novel. It positions Wells as being more central to their debates than has previously been acknowledged.
