Electroless co-deposition of gelatine microgels with nickel-phosphorous coatings
NiP\gelatine microgel coatings were produced using the electroless co-deposition technique. Gelatine performed as a corrosion inhibitor for steel alloy substrate when exposed to 3.5 wt% NaCl solution. The NiP\gelatine microgel coating was compared with plain NiP coating produced from same electroless deposition solution using Energy Dispersive Spectroscopy (EDS) and Electrochemical Impedance Spectroscopy (EIS).
