Abstract/Description
This poster investigates the use of Evolutionary Algorithms
(EAs) to optimise solutions to the Dynamic Aircraft Landing
Problem (DALP). The approach adopted here uses an
EA to evolve improvements to the solution so as to move
towards an optimum solution. By using the EA to evolve
gradual improvements to an existing feasible solution, a feasible solution is always maintained, an important consideration in a safety critical area such as air traffic control
